Jesus said, "Let them... Allow them to come..." I wonder how many children are hindered in their desire to make Jesus their new, "best" friend by the attitudes or actions of a careless adult.


These songs are "kid tested". I wrote and taught them myself to over 80 children who were part of my church's mid-week kid's program. The curriculum indicated the verses to be memorized. We learned one new song each month for 9 months. It went so well that we recorded the results at the end of the year! Recently one of the children (now a 220 lb. walk-on for Nebraska football) told me that he still remembers the songs we sang on Wednesday nights. Although they were written for children there are several here that would be appropriate for adults as well. Take time to listen to... I John 1:9; Colossians 3:15-17; II Timothy 3:16,17; Psalms 86:5, etc. The children would be thrilled to hear the whole church singing "their" songs!
